Oh Mr. Bill...

SO my alma mater made national news.
And it's nothing to be proud of. Believe me.
Go google Lamar University for news results and then read the story on the latest wack job to come out of there.
We have gone from moon rock stealers to terrorist threat spewing brats.
Great.

On a related note, I really haven't been working hard to hunt for possibilities out of Lufkin. I saw job posting for the CIA, and as much as I want to believe it could be a cool "you never existed" job, I am sure it's just a boring underpaid government job. Bleh to that. I know the economy is in the slumps. I saw it coming for a good while before the media said "oh no!" (in Mr. Bill fashion) and everyone started flipping out. I have accepted the fact that I may get laid off. I have accepted the fact that I am compeating with far more people than normal for any given job I may find tempting.

So, I decided a while back that if the horrible happens - (Really in my mind it is not an if but more like WHEN) - I will go back to school. If I can, I will go back to Lamar, finish up my bachelors in finance and then take a year to do my MBA. Nerdy me actually misses school. Go figure.
I also want to see this trading center the COB is supposed to be getting. Plus, I miss a few professors who really had a great impact on who I have become. (The kim jong il wanna-be is NOT one of those.)

Who knows...time will tell.

I know after Saturday's drunken foundry Christmas party, I am very loved and people here don't want me to go. (Drunks speak the truth.) I had no idea I was that well thought of around here....

Christmas is ONE WEEK AWAY.
In ONE WEEK I will be 24.

And the state of Texas said I had to pay over $150 to get a new license. And then charged me fees for paying it all online with my credit card. That thing better be at the house when I get home tomorrow! I have to have it to go to all the shows I have planned.
Plus, the holidays means plenty of excuses for excessive alcohol consumption. Might as well hook me an IV up to a bag of screw drivers starting next Tuesday evening.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Anyway, Happy Holidays!
Everyone be safe.

And please continue to pray for my brother, he had surgery today to repair a bleeder in his stomach.

God bless y'all!
