More tricks than treats

So this weekend was a mix of awesomeness and craptasticness. (Yes, that's a word. My blog, my rules.)
I spent all day Saturday baking thousands of cookies and getting organized for that evening. After making two dozen Halloween shaped sugar cookies & a dozen chocolate chip cookies, I got dressed in my costume.
Construction Barbie.
It was so cute! And came together better than I expected.
I also dressed up my little ones as a skunk & a hotdog.
Once my date for evening arrived, I painted his face and off we went to Katy for the party.
I had a blast, and I really enjoyed spending time with my favorite girls in the world!

Sunday was not as great.
I met the girls at BW3s in Midtown. I got there first and got a table. After approximately 15 minutes the manager insisted that my waitress get rid of me so he could seat other people at my table. Right as the waitress tried to bump me the girls showed up and she let us stay at our table. Needless to say, I will not be returning to that BW3s until the manager learns some customer service skills.
To make the day even better, my car got towed while we were eating. Along with all the other vehicles near mine. $200 dollars, a lot of frustrating, and a drive into the slums, I got my car back. I'll refrain from saying really ugly, mean, non-PC comments....

To finish off my shitty day, I found out about something shady that happened Saturday night.

I give up on trying to get past being dark, cynical, twisted, and untrusting. It's apparently not worth my effort.

And to add insult to injury, I woke up this morning with a headcold I caught somewhere along the way.

This my friends, is why I get so terrified when I'm happy.
