So work is now a happy place for me. I can honestly say I love my job. I tweet this regularly, I say it regularly, and I really feel like going to work every single morning (M-F that is.)
I think I am starting to sound like a broken record, but it really blows my mind that I could like a job this much.
On top of being happy with just status-quo, I got a raise Wednesday.
Completely and totally unexpected.
And it was more than what I expected to see in September with my review.
Plus I got to hear from my boss (and my boss' boss yesterday) how I'm awesome and they really want to keep me around.
I am blessed.
I feel like I am getting back what I have been giving since I enter the full-time job world. Someone finally appreciates me and all the effort I have been putting out.
I can feel the warmth of the sun shining on my face.
Beyond my awesome job, life has just been bobbing along. Mother's day, Father's Day, Mom's birthday. All went well.
Last weekend my sister and I made a trip to the beach, that was a good day.
My summer of music has actually turned out to be pretty dull. Instead, I am now looking foward to a fall full of fantastic music! Party in the Pines with Stoney on Aug. 29th and lots of shows at Banita Creek Hall should make up for the summer that never was. PLUS!!! Ziegfest in October! I can't wait.
Music warms my heart.
