So since I have been looking around for a good deal on a car I have been looking at craigslist quite a bit.
Now craigslist is it's own little world when it comes to classifieds. These are nothing like what you would find in the paper or your local greensheet.
People for some reason seem to think that since they listed it on craigslist and gave you the benefit of posting pictures, their stuff should go for a much elevated price.
So let me get the word out.
Just because your couch from the 80's is from Ethan Allen, it is not "vintage", "shabby-chic", or even "modern."
And it is not worth the 100 - 300 bucks you're asking for.
Put the sucker on the corner and I am sure someone will be glad to take it off your hands.

No one is going to pay top dollar for your vehicle that *may* or *may not* run and has 200k miles on it. Donate it. Take it to a scrap yard. Sell it for parts.

HAHAHAH...that just made me laugh my ass off! sitting that crap on the corner would be a step up for the people that live around me...they just throw all their old crap by, not in, the dumpster. and yesterday i came outside and there was a giant smashed T.V. sitting by my car...GHETTO!!! Hope you find something that is worth money soon!
